During San Diego Comic-Con, MTV host Steven Smith got to explore the first console "Adventure Time" game, "Explore the Dungeon BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW!" That's right, the animated series built on extended homages to dungeon crawlers and RPGs-past now has its own dungeon crawler/RPG coming to the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PC, and 3DS.

Why should you take this journey? Because dungeons need conquering, that's why. The title is actually a reference to the season five episode, "Vault of Bones." That the game will dig deep into "Adventure Time" fiction should be no surprise: creator Pendleton Ward wrote its script for the game, which sees Finn and Jake heading into Princess Bubblegum's Secret Royal Dungeon beneath the Candy Kingdom.
Characters Jake, Finn, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, and Cinnamon Bun are all of the playable characters currently announced for the multiplayer game, voiced by the cast of the show.
Enjoy this look at "Explore the Dungeon..." featuring Jake using his elastic powers to conquer Convict Fairies in one of the 100 floors whose exits randomly change between saves.
"Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW!" will be out on November 12.
